In 2001, "Time" magazine named him "America's best theologian." Now, Stanley Hauerwas is being honored once again - this time by his peers. This stirring new collection engages the key themes of Hauerwas's influential scholarly career. Touching on topics such as the church and civil religion and Jewish/Christian relationship, this celebration of Hauerwas's thought is certain to inspire both admiration and spiritual reflection. "God, Truth, and Witness" will make an ideal gift for pastors, seminary students, and anyone interested in the tough-minded, compassionate theology of one of the sharpest Christian thinkers of our time.
