Born in 1888 in New York City, Eugene O'Neil is the son of stage actors James O'Neill and Ella Quinlan. His first full length play, Beyond the Horizon, was produced on Broadway and garnered him the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. He received four Pulitzer Prizes in total, and was the first American playwright to win the Nobel Prize for Literature.
Orson Bean's career spans five decades. In addition to being an actor and award-winning director, he is an acclaimed storyteller. He starred on Broadway for twenty years, and appears frequently in Los Angeles Theater. Mr. Bean has had three books published and currently lives in Venice, California with his wife, the actress Ally Mills.
