Over 5,300 people participated in this survey and, although all these people are very different, they all have one common trait - they are all movie lovers. When producing the review contained in this guide, the editors have synopsised surveyors' opinions with their exact comments (shown in quotation marks). Last year's top film was Lives of Others, followed by Letters from Iwo Jima and Pan's Labyrinth.
