A 1998 graduate of the University of Hartford Art School, Christopher Speakman grew up on the south shore of Massachusetts and now resides in Boston. Realistic drawing and painting are lifelong passions that Chris uses to portray the world around him. He considers the Italian Renaissance masters to be his main artistic influences, and he finds inspiration in the stories told by architecture and urban landscapes. Chris works as a senior graphic designer in Newton, Massachusetts, and he also teaches an art class in architectural illustration. Recently Chris's work has been displayed at Boston City Hall and in galleries around the Boston and Cambridge areas.
