Sinopsis
This work examines the major topics of the field of organizational behaviour. The authors attempt to represent relevant theories and research but integrate them into the logic of the book. Whenever possible and useful, research and theory are translated into implications and actual techniques for managing behaviour in the work-setting. Readers are provided with numerous managerial suggestions and ideas for importing organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Each chapter contains everyday examples, current inserts on events and applications in the real world. Summaries, key concepts, study questions and cases are presented at the end of every chapter. Each chapter acknowledges international applications and problems. The book is supported with an instructor's manual containing complete test-book, study-question and case-question answers; and classroom exercises and transparency masters.

Acerca del autor
Henry L. Tosi is McGriff Professor of Management at the University of Florida. The founding editor of The Leadership Quarterly, Tosi has served on various editorial review boards, authored over 60 journal articles, and held several positions within the Academy of Management. He holds a PhD from Ohio State University and has taught at Michigan State University, the University of Maryland, the University of California-Irvine, Cornell University, Luigi Bocconi University, and the University of Modena.
John R. Rizzo is Professor Emeritus of Western Michigan University. He has served as management development consultant to organizations such as Ford Motor Co. and UNESCO and has authored a number of journal articles. He holds a PhD from Ohio State University and has taught at George Washington University.
Stephen J. Carroll attends at the University of Michigan.
