The words just flowed from my mind on to paper. That is when I knew that I was truly gifted in poetry. I fell in love with the words and knew that this would be the beginning of a lifetime of sharing my gift with my friends, family, and anyone who shared the same love I have. The first book I read was one written by the great Edger Allen Poe. His poetry was dark, yet deep in ways that got me more interested in other authors. As I grew older my style changed from simple to complex which created new paths in my world of poetry. My writings became more spiritual in nature as I grew older. Although times have changed and people have changed, poetry will never change. I welcome all people in our world to embrace the change knowing that our lives will become better when we all strive for peace, love, harmony, and forgiveness.
