Mahria’s writing demonstrates the progress her soul made in this lifetime. She endured a severely abusive & tormenting childhood, having no place of safety, causing her soul to dissociate. She didn’t learn words to express. She lived with no spirit, nor personality. In her late 20's, she decided to end her life of inner torment. But God intervened, causing a miracle transformation, bringing life to her soul & giving her a hunger for God. She studied the Bible fervently for 15 years. Full of faith & spirit, she began experiencing unexplained miracles. This has continued through-out her life. As she now looks at her past, she sees an Amazing Grace which upheld her through all those dark times. Even though not proficient in verbal expression, she learned to sense things intuitively, nonverbally, having very high intelligence. Mahria Thompson graduated with a B.S. Degree in Modern Languages, after which she taught French, Spanish & English. She also tutored algebra & geometry. While raising three children as a single mom, she earned her M.A. degree in Clinical Psychology from W.K.U. She worked as a psychotherapist, & later presented Self-Growth workshops all over the US & in Mexico. Mahria got her N. M. Real Estate License in 2006, & became a R.E. investor. Her work stopped when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010. Rather than receiving conventional medical intervention, Mahria chose alternative healing techniques. By 2012, the MRI’s miraculously showed no sign of cancer. She has spent time in Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Greece and lived briefly in Manta, Ecuador, & in Ajijic, Mexico. Seemingly fearless, she has done everything by herself. “I get an idea to do something. Then the direction comes to my mind & I just do it,” she states. “I believe what A Course in Miracles teaches, ‘God’s Son is safe wherever he goes.’ So I had courage to go alone wherever I felt guided, & it always worked out fine. The means & ways would simply manifest. The Course also says, ‘God is not willing that His Son be satisfied with less than everything.’ To me, that’s a blank check on which to write anything I want.” “I have wanted to write books for many years.
