"This is far more than a banking story. It is a powerful example of what bold, customer-centric leadership looks like in an industry under immense pressure. An invaluable book for any executive leading large-scale change."
— Jamie Dimon, Chairman and CEO of JPMorganChase
A bank that needed two government bailouts became the best bank in the world. Here is exactly what it took.
Ralph Hamers led ING's complete enterprise overhaul from the inside, navigating crisis leadership, cultural collapse, and digital reinvention at the same time. This is not a theoretical framework. It is a candid, authoritative account of transformation at scale, written for executives who need real answers.
Whether you are leading a team or rebuilding an institution, this is the honest, practical account that business schools cannot teach.
