Sharon's grandfather born a Winfrey in Winona Mississippi, was taken away from his family as a small child and was raised as a Bennett. Sharon was born to parents migrating from the Delta. She grew up in Kankakee Illinois. She is the fourth child of six and now resides in Georgia. Sharon graduated Who's Who in America in 1987 and also worked for the government. In 2007 she decided to return to college for her medical degree in. After having four daughters of her own she decided to write a book series called Stuck In the Middle in 2015.
