Ultrafiltration technology has been widely used in many fields such as water purification, chemical separation, pharmaceutical production, food processing, seawater desalination pre-treatment, and more. This book provides new research on the processes and uses of ultrafiltration. Chapter One reviews the preparation and application of hollow fibre ultrafiltration membrane. Chapter Two details the ultrafiltration of surfactin (lipopeptide), one of the most well-known biosurfactants and suggests a similar process for mannosylerythritol lipids (glycolipid), one of the most prominent biosurfactants.
