Now, Here’s the Rest of the Story is a book about the parables taught by Jesus. This book provides a simple explanation of the parables or short stories that Jesus told to impart instruction and rebuke without offense. Anyone who has never heard or studied the parables – the new or seasoned Christian – could easily have a better understanding of what Jesus actually taught. The parables show us how to apply His teachings to our every day life. Each parable should help us to have a better and more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Now, Here’s the Rest of the Story is designed so it can be easily understood and enjoyed by any individual, or be used as a Bible study, as part of a Sunday School curriculum, or for Pastors to use as a series of sermons. Some of the parables get into the culture of that day so that the reader can better understand the parable. It is my prayer that all who read this book will come away with a closer, more personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Acerca del autor
Peggy Borst graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the Anna Vaughn School of Nursing at Oral Roberts University. Peggy was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 13 years, and a Registered Nurse for 28 years. As an LPN, she spent nine years working in a hospital and four years in the U.S. Army. After 41 years in nursing where she worked in several states, Peggy retired from nursing. For 11 years, Peggy has taught Sunday school from nursery through 8th grade. Peggy is currently a member of the prayer team for her church and has a prayer team/healing ministry in Central Florida.
