He is a graduate of Moscow State Institute for International Relations and of the European University Institute (Florence). Alexei Zhiltsov is a recognized specialist in the area of comparative and private international law, international trade law and international commercial arbitration and was a member of the Working Group for the Preparation of the Draft of Part Three of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.
