Not your typical shifter romance story! Embark on a safari adventure full of surprises, steamy scenes and verbal smack downs! Madison Bright is on the run—from her family, from her life in America, from herself. She’s determined to find her own way in life, to figure out how she can use the gift she has to help better society. She decides to join an anti-poaching group called Wild Resist in Zimbabwe, and is thrown into a world of smothering heat and deadly betrayal. The organization’s owners, Gamba and Nana, welcome her warmly, and introduce her to the Tutani brothers . They are a part of a family who help Wild Resist from time to time, but live as a clan away from the compound. Madison volunteers to head out on a patrol immediately, eager to prove herself—but perhaps more eager to get some alone time with the sexy and mysterious Tashinga Tutani. This patrol, however, turns out to be anything but routine… Excerpt: It was dark, and the only sound was that of the wind whispering through the long grass. That didn't last. Soon Madison heard the sounds of footsteps across the plains—muted, as though they didn't want to be heard. Human. The scene flashed and changed. Now she stood in front of a large map of the Hwange National Park. She had studied this map in recent months, and knew where the village was, where the campgrounds were, and other important points. Suddenly, a spot of blood surfaced on the Northwestern corner, spreading out as it soaked languidly through the paper. The scene changed again. She stood on the ground as a massive foot passed overhead. An elephant. She was amongst a herd of them as they hefted their weight across the grassy landscape. They were beautiful. Suddenly, a cracking shot rang out. One of the elephants cried out in agony. It sounded almost human. Author’s Note: This is a stand-alone story with an HEA, so no cliff-hangers! Story contains mature themes and language, and is intended for 18+ readers only.
