Biografía del autor:
David Blackston is a Registered Financial Consultant®, Certified Estate Planner®, Certified Senior Advisor®, Investment Advisor Representative and licensed insurance agent. He hosts a daily radio show on the “Rob Newton Resource Hour” and speaks at numerous educational workshops monthly. David has more than 40 years of experience in the financial industry. He began his career in the banking industry in 1973, working up to senior vice president of a regional bank in central Kentucky. After realizing his passion was in serving the needs of individuals and families, David founded Blackston Financial Advisory Group, LLC. His steadfast dedication to client needs and financial expertise has built a financial firm that prides itself on client service and family-oriented values. David's unique approach to financial planning includes investment advisory services, tax forecasting and estate planning — all working together to provide a comprehensive plan for clients. His methods include safe money and risk money, and how these two worlds can be brought together to provide a worry-free lifestyle. David is active in his church and is an individual partner with different ministries around the globe. He is married to Andrea Blackston and has two children: Drew, also an advisor in the office, and Kyle, a professional golfer. Drew Blackston is a Registered Financial Consultant® who has been working in the financial services industry since graduating from the University of South Florida in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He began his career focusing on individual specific health needs before expanding into market research and financial planning. After spending two years on the investment policy committee and involved in the day-to-day trading of client accounts, Drew decided to move into the individual financial planning field. His unique perspective during the financial crisis prepared him for the future not only with market research and analysis but with asset preservation. He specializes in investment strategies, stock market analysis and asset preservation. A native of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Drew is a national Investment Advisor Representative, Registered Financial Consultant®, registered insurance agent and notary public for the state of Florida. He completed his Certificate for Financial Planning through Kaplan University. Drew is married to Valerie Blackston, who is director of communications with Blackston Financial Advisory Group.
