The only expense to the county for the new registry would be furnishing the rooms. The distance from Leominster to Worcester is 20, and from Fitch burg to Worcester is 25 miles. Ashburnham, Lunenburg and Westminster to reach Worcester must go through Fitchburg. The police business of the new district was done in Fitchburg, with the exception of that of Leominster. The rooms prepared occupied the whole of one side on the lower floor; they are not occupied.

Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. The book evaluates the establishment of a registry of deeds in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The proposal seeks to serve the city and four adjoining towns to enhance convenience and address the absence of professional services in these areas. Proponents argue that the county is currently too large, while opponents cite a lack of need, maintaining that transportation and communication networks adequately serve the region and that the proposal is rooted in a desire to divide the county. The author presents arguments from both sides to present a comprehensive analysis of the subject.
