Reseña del editor

Excerpt from Cornell's First Steps in Geography

Tms little work has been prepared at the request of numerous teachers, expressly for the use of Primary Schools.

It will be found, upon examination, exceedingly simple and easy to be committed to memory. The definitions of the Natural Divisions of the Earth's Surface are as brief as possible, and they are fully illustrated by means of pictures and diagrams; the former showing the object as it appears in nature, the latter the manner of rep resenting it on a map. The definitions are also given in the form of a review. This double method is designed to assist the memory of the youthful student and enable him thoroughly to master the subject.
