Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book investigates the physical basis of climate and its variations, forming part of a comprehensive study of the global atmospheric research program. Groundbreaking in its scope and scientific rigour, this book is structured in three parts: a summary of the main conclusions and recommendations, a discussion of the physical basis of climate and climatic variation, and a survey of past climatic variations and the projection of future climates. The author emphasizes the importance of paleoclimatology to the comprehension of both natural and man-made climatic variations. This book will prove invaluable to students and researchers in meteorology, climatology, hydrology, and oceanography. Moreover, anyone interested in the complexities of climate change will find this book an excellent starting point.
