Each trade brand or kind Of stock or material Should have its individual card. For instance there will be a separate card for each kind of lubricating oil carried, one for each kind of tire, one for each size of bolt, one for the kind of tire-holders sold, etc. These cards should all be grouped and kept by groups in separate filing drawers. For example, make one group all gen eral accessories; another, parts for the engine; in an other, all tires carried; in another group all cards for electrical supplies; in another, gasoline, oil, polishes, etc.

For purchasing stock card form C is offered. When the stock in any supply or material reaches the low point given on the card form A or B, the person in charge of the stock room should immediately notify the office, here a card form C is made out in duplicate.
