Known practice in all its branches by the most skil ful workers in the art everywhere, and is published in the hope that it may hasten a still further im provement in the quality of the pictures, and the better appreciation of'the great value of these pictures in scientific (work and the recording of national and historical events in a far more nat ural and accurate manner than posed still pictures permit.
