It told them something they did not agree with. And, this was often something that could not be improved. Because, this book refuses to people-please. It will not pander to naïve hopes that fairy tales do exist. It will not condone abandoning marriage the second it starts to get tough. It will not tell people that marriage is going to be easy. Rather, it takes a risk in saying things that are not always popular. Caution to those who prefer their pills to have a generous sugar-coating.
