Sinopsis

It seems there is always an easier way to do "stuff", and in IT there is an ever growing amount of "stuff" that needs to be read, understood, practiced and then played out in the real world. In this book, I share my view on how Service Integration Architecture can be easier to grasp and to do, as well as many of the concepts that hang together to make it what it is. I have deliberately tried to use simple English and avoid technical jargon, with a few exceptions. The book builds on my mantra of "Intelligent Laziness"; it is my way of finding new ways to delegate my duties to the computer and get more time to chill and relax, and hopefully think up more ways to delegate some more. This book will inform you if you are already an IT architect, designer or developer, and for all others with an interest in joining up multiple services to serve business users, you will get an eye opener in words that you can easily chew. I like to believe that things are easy and obvious to those who understand them. I believe I can show you that SOA, services, AIA, and other concepts are quite simple and interesting; have a read and I am sure you will agree!
