Sinopsis

"Hi, I'm Skygrrl! Welcome aboard! I'm so excited to tell you all about what it's like to travel on an airplane for the first time! First-time flyers come in all ages and nationalities, but one thing they all have in common: everyone flies for the first time once! Where will your first airplane ride take you? What will it be like? I wrote Congratulations, First-Time Flyer! just for you. It's a fun, light-hearted, whimsical picture book for all ages. You're going to love it!". Acerca del autor

Barbara Lynn Freedman, a.k.a. Skygrrl, is a Georgia transplant to the West Michigan area where she has lived for 30-plus years and considers herself a native "Michigander". Her love of aviation and the people and place where she calls home inspired the moniker Skygrrl; GRR being the airport identifier for the Gerald R. Ford International Airport where she commutes to and from with her job as a flight attendant. Barbara Lynn is the proud mom of Mollie, Mitchell and Mark. When she isn't flying the fabulous skies, she is an avid runner, tennis player, group fitness instructor, community volunteer, and of course, writer. "I have a special passion for my passengers, especially my first-time flyers", she says. "I want them to feel the excitement of flying and have fun, so that they'll want to fly again."
