Sinopsis

The last thing Mags Gordon expected when she stepped aboard the One True Love that summer morning was a man’s obviously dead body, lying in a sticky pool of blood. The second surprise came when she recognized him as her billionaire client from hell. Her heart went into her throat and she grabbed for the bulkhead wall to steady herself, even as her hastily-eaten breakfast backed up in her throat. Some action was required of her and suddenly, she wasn’t certain she was up to the task. After all, she’d never found a dead body before. But if Mags the real estate agent didn’t want to be known as Mags the Murderer, she had to leave her comfort zone and find the killer herself, before she became the next victim.

Acerca del autor

John Shivers is a life-long lover of mysteries. Erle Stanley Gardner, Agatha Christie, Jane Tesh, Philip Craig, Carolyn Hart, Mary Daheim, Joe Lee, Mignon Ballard, M.C. Beaton… the list of mystery writers whose works have influenced him since the 1950’s is extensive. With publication of Boat Load of Trouble, he joins these masters of the “Oh what a tangled web we weave…” society with entry-level membership. This is his eighth book in print and his first mystery. When he vowed in the summer of 1961 that he would someday become a mystery writer, John never dreamed it would be 54 years before his name would be found on the cover of his own whodunit. Thanks to Margaret “Mags” Gordon, he’s now a member of this deceptive fraternity in good standing.
