James Daniel Johnson was born in Florence, South Carolina. He currently resides in the District of Columbia. Accept It & Grow is Mr. Johnson’s third book. His first, Internal Reflections – It Is What It Is, and second This Will Make Ya Think, are collections of poems about the adversities Mr. Johnson has faced, his Christian faith, and his relationships with family and friends. About his life, Mr. Johnson says: I have overcome childhood abuse, drug addiction, and alcoholism. The devil desires to destroy God’s purpose for my life. Needless to say, the Lord will not allow that to happen. Amen.
