Acerca del autor

Michael Austin is Assistant Professor of Media, Journalism and Film, and Coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Studies Program in the School of Communications at Howard University, USA. He teaches courses in audio production, radio, and sound design for film. His research focuses on sound and music in new media, particularly on the social influence of music video games and questions regarding their use, misuse, and re-appropriation, and on their connection to other forms of music technology. He is also interested in the topics related to music videos, digital aesthetics, interface design for audio applications, and human-computer interaction.
