What is consciousness? In this book we explore consciousness from many viewpoints. In fact, this book contains the ideas of Ken Wilbur, Jean Gebser, David Hawkins and Teilhard de Chardin. It is the basis of a discussion group that met for many weeks at our ministry in Sun City, Arizona. Our challenge in the 21st century is to ask good questions and find ways to enhance consciousness in our world. We have a need to bring it to a higher level. We want our consciousness to meet, in profoundly creative ways, the unprecedented challenges we have bequeathed to ourselves, thanks to the less-developed forms of consciousness that have brought us to this point. You are an explorer. May this book assist you in exploring many good ideas and coming up with others. Come with us and explore consciousness at depth. You will be surprised, amazed and we are confident that you may also release at least one perception that does not serve you well.
