This textbook is divided into four units. Each unit contains practice sets to cope with the general needs of conducting daily communication, the sentence patterns and grammar are presented to students in an order that emphasizes functional usage and are arranged within situational topics. Necessary instructions have been given wherever required, so that learning Chinese and speaking become enjoyable. So, this textbook is designed and arranged the content on the basis of wide spectrum of knowledge and experience, both academic and practical. The book consist of a wide range of reading genre: stories, myths, legends, city description etc. thus providing them a complete literary experience. It also follows interactive and communicative approach to let the young learners acquaint themselves with all aspects of Chinese learning. Students have both a classical and contemporary approach with an attractive layout of colorful, vibrant real life illustrations and aim at making teaching-learning experience more students friendly, interesting and easily comprehensible. It is designed to help and improve the capacity of the students to express their ideas and feelings and their ability to enhance their understanding of Modern Chinese language.
