Yannis Kappos has been working with AutoCAD since 1985 (version 2.1). He is an Autodesk authorized author and he has written more than 40 books on AutoCAD in Greek, starting in 1995 with AutoCAD 13 for DOS version. Since then he has followed all the versions of AutoCAD writing a number of books including the series Work with AutoCAD … (in which each book has about 1450 pages) and the series Introduction to AutoCAD … (in which each book has about 600 pages). He has published the book The Art of Applied AutoCAD for Surveyors, Architects and Civil Engineers in English. His first degree is a Diploma from the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He attained his PhD from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Democritus University of Thrace. He has been teaching AutoCAD in the Department of Environmental Engineering at the Democritus University of Thrace, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Technical Educational Institute of Kavala and in other Schools and Institutes for longer than 25 years.
