David is passionate about menswear because he knows it has the power to transform lives. The better prepared you are and the more presence you create greatly influences the impact you make. Building brands is a passion of David's, and he does so through clothing. A marketing and advertising executive turned man of the cloth, David has been helping gentleman of all walks of life through the power of dress as founder of ABBEYDALE, a custom and ready to wear clothing brand located in Charlotte, NC. A native Charlottean and graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, David found his passion after 10 years as an executive in the advertising business. Inspired originally to “help men in the south dress better,” his ideas are now spreading throughout the Unites States with clients both national and international. Driven by a constancy of purpose, David started Our Common Thread, a social charity initiative inspiring young college graduates through executive experiences. Graduates receive a suit, shirt, tie and shoes to get them started out in life in the best way possible. Other charitable contributions include committee member for Leukemia and Lymphoma foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and many more.
