We can find satisfaction through, for example, art and exploration without deflowering the earth. And by meditation we can develop an inner space of still delight.

Biografía del autor

Antony Black holds a Personal Chair (Emeritus) in the History of Political Thought at the University of Dundee. He has recently published "The History of Islamic Political Thought from the Prophet to the Present", and was founding review editor of "The Journal of Early Modern History: Contacts, Comparisons, Contrasts". He is currently working on global and comparative political thought.
