Born and raised in Iowa, Stephanie Stitt Cox, M.D., attended Medical School at the University of Iowa. She's been practicing Family Medicine in the Des Moines area since 2002 and has over a decade of experience taking care of children of all ages. While her patients are inspiring, her biggest inspiration comes from her own three children, Connor, Aidan and Lydia. She's spent countless hours reading books with them and hopes that this book not only introduces kids to their doctor's office but also helps to foster their life-long love of reading. This is her first children's book.
