John McCarthy is currently an investigative consultant for Children's Services of NYC, assisting in child abuse investigations. He studied at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and worked for over twenty years as a police officer and detective for the NYPD. John has two grown children and currently lives in New Rochelle, New York.
