Acerca del autor

Sharad R. Laxpati is currently Associate Professor Emeritus in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He also is the owner of LMS Engineering, a consulting company in Chicago. He has over four decades of experience in teaching electrical engineering courses in Signal Processing, Electric Circuits, Linear Systems, Antennas, Microwaves and Electromagnetics including computational aspects. He has published several papers of his research. He is a Life Senior member of IEEE and a permanent member of Commission B of International Union of Radio Science (URSI). Dr. Vladimir Goncharoff is Lecturer of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he has been teaching since 1983. Graduating engineering students voted him to receive the UIC Silver Circle Award for Excellence in Teaching five times during his career, and he was honored as the first recipient of the Harold Simon Award for Teaching Excellence by the College of Engineering. Dr. Goncharoff’s research interests include low-rate digital speech coding and speaker identity transformation.
