Brian Herskowitz is a writer, director, producer. He started his career in the industry as an actor and soon found he had a passion for writing. As a writer he has worked in TV on such shows as BOB PATTERSON, YOUNG HERCULES, TOUR OF DUTY, THE LEGENDARY JOURNEYS OF HERCULES, DREAM ON, MURDER SHE WROTE. His feature film credits include MUSICAL CHAIRS (produced), TIO PAPI (co-wrote/produced), LONG LIVE THE SQUIRRELS (produced), UNTIL SOMEONE GETS HURT (co-wrote/produced). Brian has directed theater and film. His short film ODESSA OR BUST won multiple film festivals and starred JASON SCHWARTZMAN (SAVING MR. BANKS), RED BUTTONS (academy award winner for SAYONARA), JASON ALEXANDER (SEINFELD), RACHAEL CHAGALL (THE NANNY), and GEORGE WENDT (CHEERS). When Brian's not teaching, producing, writing or directing he can be found participating in the martial arts. He is a fourth degree black belt in Judo three time medalist in the Master World Judo championships, and three time Pan American Jui Jitsu champion. He's married to actress Gina Hecht and has two daughters, Maggie and Bailey.
