Biografía del autor

The author was drawn to write a book about her life after encouragement from many people. At the time of writing this novel, she lived with her husband in South Australia for the summer months. They moved to Western Queensland, living on a sapphire lease, in the middle of the native Australian scrub, including corrugated uneven dirt tracks, no running water, no electricity, and no flushing toilet for the dry season. The only heating was a campfire, the only lighting was battery power from solar energy. While her husband dug the dirt in search of these sapphires, she wrote this novel, in the midst of the native flora and fauna.
