This book of devotions is an intimate look at the world through the experiences of the author, her friends and family, and strangers she has met along the way. Scriptures, tips for living the Christian life, and photos from her collection enhance each devotion. She shares random thoughts and scriptural and spiritual applications from what she sees all around the world, hoping it will prompt further thoughts of your own, and give you hope and encouragement.

Sharon Cook spent most of her life in California, where she gave her life to the Lord at age five. Now an Arizona resident, she is a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother to and ever-growing brood now at 25; teacher and educational consultant; author of Christian and secular works; speaker on the topic of Our Marvelous Brain and at Christian women's events and retreats; reader, quilter, crafter, and compulsive volunteer. She and her husband love to travel and have covered the U.S. in a variety of vehicles and cruised much of the world while she gives history lectures on the ships. They spend their winters in the Phoenix area and their summers in the Arizona White Mountains where they volunteer with the Desert Pines RV Park Church Ministry.
