Luis Majano is a Computer Engineer with over 12 years of software development and systems architecture experience. He was born in San Salvador, El Salvador in the late 70’s, during a period of economical instability and civil war. He lived in El Salvador until 1995 and then moved to Miami, Florida where he completed his Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering at Florida International University. Luis resides in Rancho Cucamonga, California with his beautiful wife Veronica and baby girl Alexia! He is the CEO of Ortus Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in ColdFusion, Java development and all open source professional services under the ColdBox and ContentBox stack. He is the creator of ColdBox, ContentBox, WireBox, MockBox, LogBox and anything “BOX”, and contributes to many open source ColdFusion projects.
