Kail Pooler is an American, award-winning writer, professional graphic designer, radio personality and, if I may say so myself, star student. He's won his first (and currently only) award for writing through JFCS for mental health. Kail has been diagnosed with ADHD, OCD, and highly-functioning Asperger's Syndrome. After that, he immediately wrote down his pre-assembled plot line on a stack of lined paper, and determined himself to save money towards the purchase of a computer. Age 13. After the original, but not the final, manuscript was written, Kail won his writing award which gave him a substantial amount of money to go towards the purchase, but not enough. Age 14. Kail soon after graduated top of his 8th grade class, and all of his earned money went to his computer. Age 14. At the time, the novel was named: The Academy Saga: Kail's Story It went from that, to The Magical Preparatory Academy: Year 1 To the new, simple, and brain-sticking name "Impurity." And, three manuscripts later, Impurity was finished. The bank account was made, the publishing was paid for, and Impurity was available for purchase worldwide. Age 15. And, if you've ever wondered what it's like to have your dreams come true.... It's pretty legit.
