A global leader in sustainability and social entrepreneurship, William Shutkin is the author of The Land That Could Be: Environmentalism and Democracy in the Twenty-First Century, which won a 2001 Best Book Award from the American Political Science Association, was selected as one of Time Magazine's 2002 ":Green Century" Recommended Books and was translated for publication in India.
