N. G. Belopolsky was born in 1938 in Ukraine. He holds a bachelor degree in accounting from Donetsk State University of Trade and a master's degree in economics from the Moscow Institute of National Economy (Plehanova). He is currently the deputy chairman of the Academy of Science of the Ukraine and also acts as a consultant to other universities in the country. This book was conceptualized in 2007 as an informative guide to how man's existence on Earth and his ever-increasing problems can be solved. Although written for an academic audience, much of the books' contents will appeal to the public at large and, especially, to those that are concerned with mankind's foreboding years ahead. The science of Environics is one of the few avenues left for mankind to use in his attempt to avert the catastrophes that he undoubtedly will have to face.
