In 2009, she had a train adventure from Chennai to New Delhi for a connecting flight to London, she spent her first, real Valentine’s in Hanwell Community Observatory, United Kingdom after finally solving the problem of miscommunication by a five-minute video session in Berlin, Germany a couple of years before and she met great Malaysians for Culture and Food exploration in Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom.

Hui-Shin Wong was brought up in Malaysia and educated in Malaysia. She has lived amongst blue collars, highly intelligent people, poor people, extremely rich people, local graduates, overseas graduates, easterners, westerners, IT-savvy people and non IT-savvy people. She teaches Ethics and Professional Conduct in Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia. Her imagination to travel was sparked off by Thomas J. Watson Foundation Fellowship and that has enhanced her capability to be more open, resourceful and humane. She hopes to share her stories and shed insight to her readers of how to become global and independent thinkers. Her unconventional story-telling; didactic at times and funny throughout will leave you slightly exaggerated with joy and perhaps learn a little about the country where Wong calls home, Malaysia. She now resides in Kelana Jaya and has dinner with her two brothers and three sisters every day.
