Sinopsis

Contemporary Poetic Literature is more than a book of verse: it’s a guide to overcoming life’s challenges by developing a teachable spirit. With words that communicate love and encouragement, Randy M. Henry uses a modern and personal poetic style reminiscent of song lyrics to paint twenty-two scenes that will push you to stay strong in your fight—and most of all, to let go and let God do it.

Henry’s scenes cover a range of topics, including happiness, hopelessness, anger, and triumph. He acknowledges the pain that you feel and the disappointments in your life and assures you that God knows about your heartaches. What’s more, God doesn’t want you to stay where you are: he wants you to embrace your destiny and live life to the fullest.

From the colorful imagery of “Silence among the Lambs” to the range of emotions in “Life after Divorce,” Henry’s meditations are words of love and thanksgiving that will inspire you to live the glorious life that God planned for you long before you were born. He will heal your heart, and you in turn will be a beacon of hope that inspires others.
