As one of the earliest known writings associated with the early church, the Didache (DID-ah-kay) provides valuable insights into early church belief and practice. The Didache is, for all intents and purposes, the first catechism of the church where we find continuity with the ancient roots of the church. The thoughts and comments in this work come from a small group study of writings in the early church. With the hermeneutic of continuity, our study explored many aspects that might have been missed otherwise.
