Biografía del autor

R. Grantham West was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Elementary & secondary schooling was in Affton, a suburb of south St. Louis County. A graduate of Affton Senior High, he continued his education, graduating from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, majoring in Geosciences. Raised in a devoutly Christian environment, an early awareness of purpose and calling presented itself. He found exclusionism, interdenominational rivalry, Biblical inerrancy contrasted by numerous incongruities personally troublesome. What about non-Christian faiths? 'Sola scriptura', the Bible alone, was no means to eternal salvation. Exclusion of GLBT people, his life experiences, coupled with the real world of the HIV/AIDS tragedy led to the conception of A.D. 2040 and lecturing on religious-right fundamentalism. Years in the making, the first edition was published in February, 2008, in hope of creating awareness of dangerous, religious-right conservatives, homophobia, bigotry, and hypocrisy, lest the scenario presented in A.D. 2040 come true.
