About the Authors Laryssa Nechay has over 50 years of professional experience as a psychotherapist, teacher, and author. She worked in a great variety of settings including Department of Psychiatry at Stanford University, Mental Research Institute of Palo Alto, led groups at the Esalen Institute, Big Sur, CA. Over the years, she maintained private practice in Palo Alto, Bay Area, and Mt. Shasta, CA. Laryssa worked with a large number of spiritually gifted individuals. She currently resides in the Sierra Foothills. Nick Nechay grew up in California amidst the blossoming human potential movement, surrounded by psychics and spiritual teachers. Retired from his business as a fine craftsman working with interior designers, he now pursues his interest in developing new forms of electronic music and designs in digital art he calls visual noise. He also a co-authored with Laryssa the Invisible Friend, A True Story of a Spiritual Initiation. He now lives in the Mendocino Area of the Pacific Coast.
