Antonia Felix, EdD, MFA, is a New York Times bestselling author of 20 nonfiction books, short fiction, a medical thriller, and a play. Her political biographies include Elizabeth Warren: Her Fight. Her Work. Her Life (Sourcebooks); Michelle Obama: A Photographic Journey (Sterling), and Sonia Sotomayor: The True American Dream (Berkley/Penguin). She has spoken and lectured frequently on women in power and appeared on CNN, MSNBC, FoxNews, SkyNews, NPR, PBS's Washington Journal, CNN International, BBC, CBS Radio, Sirius X-M, and others. She lives near Minneapolis, MN. Award-winning filmmaker Mimi Leder, director of On the Basis of Sex, was the first woman ever accepted to AFI's prestigious cinematography program.
