As many ceramists know, many potters glaze their pieces at mid-range temperatures, making it a popular go-to range for firing. To celebrate this trend, Lark Crafts is very excited to introduce The Complete Guide to Mid-Range Glazes this November. With over 25 years of experience as a potter, teacher, and former studio manager for the prestigious Penland School of Crafts, author John Britt gives readers his expert advice, hints, and secrets to mixing and creating glazes, eliminating the guesswork from the popular process. Along with hundreds of recipes, John explores mixing, application, specific firing and cooling cycles, and all the factors that make mid-range glazes work.
