Pendleton Woolen Mills has been in operation for more than 150 years as a six-generation, family-owned business. Founded upon the knowledge and skills of British-born weaver Thomas Kay, Pendleton Woolen Mills has, over the generations, been managed by his sons, grandsons, and great-grandsons. They have been weaving wool fabrics in their Northwest American mills since 1909, and have expanded from the original blankets to make womenswear and menswear, as well as home and fashion accessories.
