Chapter One

There once was a curious little boy named Shawn. He wore his favorite baseball pajamas all the time.

Shawn wanted to play in the green grass on the other side of his fence, so one day he decided to take a trip.

He thought, "Hmm, all I need is my baseball bat."

Shawn knew he might need his cup during his trip.

He thought, "Hmm, all I need is my baseball bat and my cup."

Shawn knew he would need his two sisters to go with him.

He thought, "Hmm, all I need is my baseball bat and my cup and my two sisters."

Shawn knew that his two sisters didn't like to walk. He needed his wagon to travel.

Shawn knew the wagon would be very heavy. He needed his daddy to pull it.

He thought, "Hmm, all I need is my baseball bat and my cup and my two sisters and my wagon and my daddy."

Shawn knew that his daddy might get lonely. He needed his mommy to come along.

He thought, "Hmm, all I need is my baseball bat and my cup and my two sisters and my wagon and my daddy and my mommy."

Shawn knew that his mommy might get bored during the trip. He needed his mommy's computer.

He thought, "Hmm, all I need is my baseball bat and my cup and my two sisters and my wagon and my daddy and my mommy and my mommy's computer."

Shawn knew that all of this would be too much. He didn't need to take a trip. All he needed was his family.
