In 1989, Ross, and his wife Christine, developed their "Conscious Couples" retreat to help people create more effective and committed intimate relationships. Its premise is that troubled couples need joy, not work. Since 1988, Quinn has inspired participants from around the world to make greater contributions WITH their lives. His Global Impact Leadership Retreat utilizes rock climbing, high ropes 'confidence' courses, Tai Chi "Quinn", studies of Mother Teresa and Buckminster Fuller, as well as indoor and outdoor group activities. James Roswell Quinn graduated from the University of Southern California in 1972, with a B.S. in Business Administration. Quinn is the father of six children.
